Florida State haul of 10 Top 200 signees is Seminoles' largest in nearly a decade
Even as Florida State’s football staff works to finish up its 2024 recruiting class with more high-profile signings, the Seminoles already have locked in more blue-chip talent than in any FSU class in nearly a decade.
Following the signings of four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek late Wednesday morning and four-star running back Kam Davis in the early afternoon, Florida State now has 10 signings among the top 200 prospects in the On3 Industry Rankings.
That’s the most in any one Florida State class since 2016.
Kromenhoek is the No. 40 prospect overall and the No. 4 quarterback, according to the industry rankings. Davis is the No. 87 prospect nationally and the No. 6 running back in this class.

With 10 top-200 players in this class, Florida State now matches the overall accumulation of blue-chip talent in head coach Mike Norvell’s first four classes combined. He landed three players of that caliber in 2023, four in 2022, one in ’21, and two in ’20.
Former head coach Willie Taggart never landed more than five top-200 recruits in one class, and Jimbo Fisher finished with nine in his final Florida State class of 2017. That group featured several five-star recruits, including running back Cam Akers and defensive lineman Marvin Wilson.
One year before that, the Seminoles landed 12 of the top 200 recruits in the country.
