Florida State lands commitment from 6-foot-6 Georgia offensive lineman
Florida State offensive coordinator/line coach Alex Atkins has once again dipped into Georgia to land a promising OL target.
Jayden Todd, a 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle from West Laurens, Ga., committed to the Seminoles Tuesday on social media.
The athletic big man has visited Florida State three times this year and received an offer after the Seminole Showcase this past weekend. Once he got that offer, he didn’t wait long to pick the Seminoles.
“From the time I very first went down there, it just felt like home. To the time that they offered me like, during that time period I just knew that’s where I wanted to go,” Todd told Warchant. “Pretty much, that’s why I hadn’t committed yet. I was waiting on the offer from Florida State. But there were times in that period where I didn’t know if that offer was going to come or not, so I was thinking like maybe I would have to go somewhere else. And then I got that offer on Sunday and I just knew that’s where I wanted to go.”

One of the biggest aspects for Todd’s pledge to the Seminoles was his relationship with Atkins.
“He played a good role. Me and Coach Atkins get along well — he’s a really nice guy,” Todd said. “… The way he coaches [stood out]. I like his aggression when he coaches, and then he can understand you as a player.”
