Florida State lands veteran Colorado OL transfer Casey Roddick
Florida State head coach Mike Norvell and offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Alex Atkins have done it again, landing an experienced offensive lineman out of the transfer portal.
Former Colorado guard Casey Roddick, who was a multi-year starter in Boulder, committed to Florida State on social media Sunday night. He was one of more than a dozen visitors at Florida State this weekend.
Roddick was listed at 6-foot-4 and 310 pounds with the Buffaloes; he started 30 of 42 games in his career there.
According to On3’s transfer portal rankings, Roddick is the No. 6-ranked interior lineman in the portal.

Roddick is expected to play guard or center with the Seminoles, which will be a major help considering starters Dillan Gibbons and D’Mitri Emmanuel both graduated after the 2022 season.
