Florida State ranked in preseason Top 10 for second straight season
With a No. 10 preseason ranking in both the AP Top 25 and the Coaches’ Poll, the Florida State football team will open the season with a top-10 ranking for the second consecutive year. FSU was ranked No. 8 going into the 2023 campaign.
This marks the first time Florida State has been ranked in the preseason top 10 in back-to-back years since 2016-17.
Florida State, which is coming off of a 13-1 season and ACC Championship, is one of four Atlantic Coast Conference teams ranked in the preseason AP poll, which was released Monday. Clemson checks in at No. 14, Miami is No. 19, and N.C. State is No. 24.
The Seminoles will play three teams ranked in the Top 25 during the regular season — Clemson, Miami and No. 7 Notre Dame.
