Two-time defending national champion Georgia starts the season ranked No. 1, Michigan is No. 2, Ohio State No. 3, Alabama No. 4, USC No. 6 and Penn State No. 7. Washington checks in at No. 10. The only other ACC team ranked in the Top 25 is North Carolina, which comes in at No 21.
