The Atlantic Coast Conference won’t release its entire 2024 football schedule until Wednesday, but the league did announce all of its Week 1 matchups on Monday, and it gives us some additional insight into the Seminoles’ fall lineup.

We now officially know six of FSU’s 12 regular-season game dates.

As had been previously reported by Warchant and other media outlets, the Seminoles will host Boston College on Labor Day night. This was the first time the date was confirmed by the ACC and FSU.

Since Florida State opens the season with a Week Zero game against Georgia Tech in Ireland, that means the Seminoles will begin the year with back-to-back ACC games for the first time since 2003. They’re also the first ACC school to do it since Miami in 2009.

The Florida State-BC game was a natural fit for Monday night so that the Seminoles could have additional time to recover from their trip to Dublin for the season opener.

Six of Florida State’s game dates for this fall are now locked in, thanks to previously announced contracts.
