Florida State's Jordan Travis leaves game with apparent season-ending leg injury

It had already started off as a bad night against North Alabama, with the visitors taking a two-touchdown lead against the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles on Saturday night.
Then, it got much, much worse.
Starting quarterback Jordan Travis appeared to severely injure his leg on a 15-yard run late in the first quarter. He was carted off the field after a lengthy delay as team doctors and trainers tended to his injury. The replay made it looked as if his leg was facing the wrong way after he was tackled.
“Our thoughts are with Jordan right now,” head coach Mike Norvell told the television broadcast in a halftime interview. “I don’t have any update. Obviously, it didn’t look good. But we’ll see where it is and obviously go from there.”
Teammate Trey Benson had to be consoled on the field after he saw the injury. He was visibly upset, as were a number of Travis’ teammates.

When Travis was put on the injury cart, the entire Florida State roster spilled out onto Bobby Bowden Field to lend their support.
Travis acknowledged the sold out crowd in Doak Campbell Stadium, touching his heart as the injury cart took him to a waiting ambulance.
Without Travis, and behind backup Tate Rodemaker, Florida State closed out the first half on a 24-0 run.
