Add sophomore shooting guard Tom House to the list of players leaving the Florida State men’s basketball team this offseason.

House played in 23 games this past season for the Seminoles but only averaged 3.6 minutes and 1.4 points. The 6-foot-7 wing was a three-star recruit out of Ohio in the 2022 recruiting class, but he had a difficult time cracking the top rotation at FSU.

On3 national basketball recruiting analyst Jamie Shaw broke the news of House’s decision Tuesday morning.

House becomes the fourth player to decide to enter the transfer portal following Florida State’s 2023-24 season, which ended with a 17-16 record and a 10-10 mark in the ACC.

Sophomore forward Baba Miller recently entered the portal while also exploring his NBA options. Point guard Primo Spears, who was essentially the team’s sixth man in his one year as a Seminole, entered the transfer portal last week. And forward De’Ante Green, who was in and out of the starting lineup this past season, did the same.

Four other players were listed as seniors this past season — center Jaylan Gainey, forward Cam’Ron Fletcher, and shooting guards Darin Green Jr. and Josh Nickelberry — so the Seminoles could have at least eight new faces on their roster for the 2024-25 season.
