One day after it was announced that the Florida State football team will play a Monday night game to cap off Labor Day weekend, FSU fans learned the Seminoles will have one more non-Saturday contest during the 2024 season.

On Friday, Oct. 18, Florida State will travel to Durham, N.C. to take on the Duke Blue Devils. That game date was announced Tuesday as part of the ACC’s three-day schedule release.

On Monday, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the Week 1 games, including FSU’s Labor Day clash with Boston College. On Wednesday, the league is going to unveil the rest of the schedule.

Tuesday was reserved for announcing the “specialty” mid-week games, and Florida State’s only appearance on that list is that one Friday. The Seminoles will not have to play a Thursday game this fall.
