Former FSU quarterback EJ Manuel, now a retired former NFL first-round pick and current analyst on ACC Network, was overjoyed to see the ‘Noles come through in the clutch for the win.
Perhaps most notably, Drew Brees praised FSU quarterback Jordan Travis for his second touchdown pass in the third quarter of the win.
Then there was Brees’ former understudy in New Orleans, 2013 Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston, who was on the Seminoles’ sideline Sunday night.
The second-leading scorer in NBA history, basketball icon and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James, looked to be enjoying the game and interested as much as anyone on Sunday.
Winston, of course, wasn’t the only former FSU standout to show his support. A pair of the greatest defensive backs in FSU history agreed on the enormity of the win.
