FSU A.D. Michael Alford shares update on season ticket sales for 2025
With the 2025 Florida State football season opening on Saturday, athletics director Michael Alford gave the FSU Board of Trustees an update on ticket sales and facilities improvements during their regularly scheduled Friday meeting.
Alford said season ticket sales are slightly ahead of where they were a year ago, with about 30,900 sales for this fall compared to 28,735 in 2024. That is the second-highest number of season tickets sold in the past five years, according to Alford; the 2023 season saw 34,060 sales.
“Coming off a 2-10 season, I’m really proud of our fans and how they have stepped up,” Alford said. “And it really also tells you how excited they are about all opportunities and the different options that we have now within the new Doak Campbell Stadium.”
Because the prices of many season tickets have escalated due to renovations on the West side of the stadium and the South end zone, Alford said the Seminoles have seen an increase of $8 million in revenue.

Those 30,900 season tickets represent 80 percent of the allotment Florida State has put on the market this year, according to Alford. In 2024, the Seminoles sold 69 percent of their allotment.
Alford also said that the newly constructed Dunlap Football Facility will be completed in October. He said the Seminoles will move in during the bye week after the Stanford game.
