Florida State sophomore ace Jamie Arnold is getting some international exposure this summer as a member of USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team, and he delivered a brilliant performance Tuesday evening.

Getting the start against Chinese Taipei in Greensboro, N.C., Arnold was dominant for four innings and paved the way for a combined no-hitter with two other pitchers.

The Florida State Seminoles star struck out seven batters while cruising through the first four frames, and Tyler Bremner of UC Santa Barbara and Alton Davis II of Georgia finished off the 9-0 victory.

According to Team USA, it was the Collegiate National Team’s first no-hitter since the select squad blanked Cuba, 2-0, on July 1, 2015.

Arnold, a left-hander from Tampa, is coming off of a breakout season in which he posted an 11-3 record with a 2.98 ERA. Over the course of 105.2 innings pitched, Arnold struck out 159 batters while walking just 26.
