KICKOFF TIME ANNOUNCED: FSU, Clemson set for noon kickoff
Billed in the preseason as the ACC’s marquee game of 2023, Florida State and Clemson now have their kickoff time and TV network information. The Seminoles and Tigers will kick off at noon on Saturday, Sept. 23, and the game will be televised on ABC.
The tenor of the 2023 game will be different than forecasted in the preseason.
Though FSU has lived up to its preseason expectations through two games — and is now up to No. 3 in both major Top 25 polls — Clemson has done the opposite. Following an opening week loss to Duke, 1-1 Clemson is unranked in the AP poll and at No. 22 in the Coaches Poll.
FSU looks to break a seven-game losing streak to its conference foe. The current run is Clemson’s longest winning streak in the rivalry. The last time the Seminoles got the better of Dabo Swinney’s Tigers was in 2014.
FSU’s last victory at Clemson came 10 years ago, a 51-14 blowout win for the eventual national champion ‘Noles.
