FSU lands DE transfer Deamontae Diggs from Coastal Carolina
The Florida State Seminoles continued their quest to overhaul their defensive front with a commitment Friday from Coastal Carolina defensive end transfer Deamontae Diggs.
Diggs gives new Florida State defensive line coach Terrance Knighton another experienced pass-rusher for the 2025 season. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound EDGE played in all 13 games this past season and finished with five sacks and 34 tackles.
Diggs, a Pennsylvania product, spent the first four years of his college career at Youngstown State.

While other schools have been trying to get in the mix, FSU got Diggs on campus this week, and he committed after wrapping up his trip on Friday.
This is Florida State’s third defensive end commitment in this transfer class, joining previous additions Deante McCray and James Williams.
McCray transferred to FSU from Western Kentucky, while Williams followed Knighton from Nebraska.
Earlier on Friday, Florida State signed North Carolina LB transfer Caleb LaVallee.
