The Florida State Seminoles have landed their fourth offensive line transfer of this cycle, and it’s another veteran who has vast starting experience on the Power 4 level.

Former Wake Forest center Luke Petitbon, who has started the past two years at center with the Demon Deacons, announced Thursday he has committed to the Seminoles.

Florida State then quickly announced that Petitbon has already signed with the ‘Noles.

The 6-foot-2, 295-pounder hails from Maryland and was a three-star recruit coming out of high school, but he is rated a four-star prospect in the transfer portal.

Petitbon originally signed with Wake Forest as a member of the 2020 recruiting class, so he will be a sixth-year senior with Florida State in 2025.

After earning Honorable Mention All-ACC honors at Wake Forest this past fall, Petitbon likely will be Florida State’s starting center in 2025. He graded out at 70.8 overall this past season, according to Pro Football Focus. His pass-blocking grade of 88.3 was exceptional, and his run-blocking grade was lower but still above-average at 67.1.

Florida State previously landed tackles Micah Pettus (Ole Miss) and Gunnar Hansen (Vanderbilt) and guard Adrian Medley (UCF).

Transfer offensive lineman Luke Petitbon signed with Florida State, head coach Mike Norvell announced Thursday.

“I’m fired up to add Luke to the Nole Family,” Norvell said. “He has great experience and has performed at a high level, earning All-ACC recognition this past season. He brings grit and toughness with his style of play, and he will be a great asset to our offensive line on and off the field. Luke is extremely intelligent and embodies key characteristics we were looking to build upon for our team this upcoming season.”
