FSU's Late Recruiting Run Continues as 4-star DE Jesse Harrold jumps on board
Florida State is looking to continue its late splash in recruiting for the Class of 2025, and the Seminoles got some great news Friday as four-star defensive end Jesse Harrold announced he is signing with FSU.
Harrold, who made the decision after visiting Florida State last weekend, previously was committed to LSU but backed out of that pledge last week.
He is one of several flip targets Florida State went after in recent weeks. The Seminoles earlier got former Arizona State wide receiver commit Jordan Scott to make the switch and jump on board, and then they landed several more flips on Signing Day.
Harrold, who hails from Tampa, fits a major need for the Seminoles, who lost some top defensive end commits during their 2-10 season. He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds.
According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Harrold is one of the nation’s top 20 defensive ends, a top-150 prospect overall and the No. 23 player in Florida.
