With just a few weeks remaining before the February signing period, Florida State hosted three 2025 recruits this weekend for official visits.

Headlining the group is four-star defensive end Zahir Mathis, who is strongly considering FSU, UCLA and Michigan after originally committing to Ohio State.

Also visiting this weekend were three-star offensive lineman Chavez “Sandman” Thompson, who is currently committed to FIU, and legacy defensive back recruit Antonio Cromartie Jr.

The younger Cromartie, who hails from Georgia, was joined on the visit by his famous father, who starred at Florida State in the early 2000s and then became a four-time Pro Bowl cornerback in the NFL.

All of the official visitors are expected to wrap up their visits this morning.
