Florida State lands point guard transfer Martin Somerville

Somerville chose Florida State over BYU after visiting both schools earlier this week. He announced his decision Friday evening.

This past season, at Umass Lowell, Somerville had an outstanding freshman year. He averaged 13.6 points per game, 3.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists. He shot 42.0 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from 3-point range.
