Warchant TV: Norvell, staff shares vision for 2023 on eve of FSU preseason camp
Earlier in the week FSU garnered 67 first-place votes in the ACC Preseason Poll, finishing just behind reigning conference champion Clemson, signaling the growing national profile for Florida State and Mike Norvell.
On Wednesday, a day before his team is set to start its 20 preseason practices, Norvell took to the podium at the Varsity Club inside Doak Campbell Stadium to outline his vision for the upcoming season and his team’s offseason progress.

A talent- and experience-laden roster has embraced an “incredible sense of urgency for growth,” said Norvell. With that has come expectations, but the Seminoles are not shying away from the spotlight.
“I’m more excited right now than I’ve ever been because of the work that’s gone into it,” Norvell said. “When it comes to expectations, there is nothing on the outside that we don’t have a higher desire than on the inside.”

FSU opens the 2023 season in Orlando vs. LSU in the Camping World Kickoff on Sept. 3.
