On3’s newest national staff member — vice president of recruiting and transfer portal Steve Wiltfong — has put in his first “Fong Bombs” in favor FSU.

Here is a look at Wiltfong’s latest predictions, along with instances where they match up with members of the Warchant Staff.

Four-Star RB Byron Louis

Wiltfong put in an RPM pick for Louis following his visit for the Spring Showcase this past weekend.

“The environment was everything I thought it would be,” Louis told Wiltfong. “High energy and good vibes. Coach Norvell & Coach Yac (David Johnson) are what continues to excite me. I see the hard work that they are putting in on a consistent basis and I like that. It just shows their hard work and dedication to being excellent is the standard.”

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Louis is the 176th-best player in the 2025 class, as well as the No. 10 running back in the country.

Wiltfong’s RPM is the first pick in Louis’ recruitment in favor of the Seminoles; there have been one each for Miami and Ohio State earlier in his recruitment.

Four-Star IOL Peyton Joseph

This pick comes after Joseph decommitted from the Univerity of Florida last week. Joseph has been a frequent visitor to Florida State this spring, staying on campus for a full week in April.

“Coach Atkins is a real coach,” Joseph told Warchant. “I mean he keeps everything blank, plan and simple. … Me and Coach Norvell are like pops and son. He treats me just like if I was one of his sons.”

Joseph already had three picks logged in favor of FSU after he backed off his pledge to Florida — two coming from Warchant’s Michael Langston and Matt LaSerre, and the third from GatorsOnline’s Keith Niebuhr.

According to the On3 Industry Ranking, Joseph is the 174th-best player in the class and the 12th-best interior offensive lineman.

Four-Star CB Gregory Thomas

The third Wiltfong RPM in favor of FSU is for the American Heritage defensive back, who has been trending to the Seminoles for some time.

Warchant’s Matt LaSerre and Michael Langston both already logged picks for the top corner. On3’s director of recruiting, Chad Simmons, also has an RPM pick for FSU in for Thomas.

“I would say they are where they’ve been, right near the top,” Thomas told Warchant after a visit earlier this spring. “It was a great visit. … It was good seeing the practice environment and seeing how the coaches are and how the practices are run.”

The On3 Industry Ranking has Thomas as a top-300 player in the class of 2025 and the 26th best at his position.

2026 Four-Star CB Jaelen Waters

The final “Fong Bomb” in favor of the Seminoles was for 2026 DB Jaelen Waters. Waters was also on campus for the Spring Showcase this past weekend.

“It was very cool,” Waters said. “I like watching the DBs, had a long conversation with (coach) Pat [Surtain], a long conversation with Adam Fuller and also the head coach.”

According to On3, Waters is a top200 player in the 2026 class, as well as a top-25 prospect at his position.
