One Week 'Til Signing Day: Latest nuggets on FSU recruiting, transfer portal targets
With National Signing Day just one week away on Dec. 20, Florida State’s football coaches have three primary objectives in mind — holding onto their highest-ranked committed players, adding a few more pieces to the 2024 class, and filling some important needs through the transfer portal.
The Seminoles’ current class ranks No. 4 in the nation, behind only Georgia, Ohio State and Alabama, but to remain in the Top 5, they’ll still have to fight off late challenges for some key commits. They also are looking to flip some big-time targets from other schools, including Ohio State WR commit Jeremiah Smith and Florida DE commit LJ McCray.
