In honor of the July 4 holiday, Florida State’s ticket office unveiled a creative — and patriotic — promotion to offer fans a more affordable ticket option for select home games this fall.
For today only and while supplies last, the Seminoles are selling certain tickets to the Southern Miss, Syracuse and North Alabama home games for just $17.76. (Here is the link to the promotion.)
For comparison, tickets for the Virginia Tech and Duke games start at $35, while the cheapest seats available for the annual rivalry game with Miami start at $105.
The Southern Miss game will be played on Sept. 9, which is the Saturday following FSU’s season opener against LSU in Orlando.
The Syracuse game is slated for Saturday, Oct. 14, while the North Alabama game will be played on Saturday, Nov. 18.

Florida State reversed a five-year downturn in attendance at Doak Cambell Stadium during last season’s 10-win campaign.
FSU ranked 21st nationally in home game attendance last season with an average of 67,254 fans per game. That was a hefty increase from the 58,679 average of 2021.
In May, Florida State athletics director Michael Alford told Warchant that sales were expected to be stronger in 2023.
“We’re doing the best we’ve done since 2014, I believe,” Alford said. “We’re pacing ahead of where we were last year.”
