The FSU baseball team won’t have a ton of time to prepare and travel across the country for its NCAA Super Regional at Oregon State.

The Seminoles and Beavers will open up play this Friday at 6 p.m. ET, according to the Super Regional schedule, which was released by the NCAA on Tuesday. That game will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Game 2 of the Corvallis, Ore., Super Regional will be played on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET, and that also is slated for ESPN2. The if-necessary game time for Sunday has not been announced yet.

FIRST REPORT

At least Dick Howser Stadium went out with a bang.

Twenty-four hours after the FSU baseball team knocked off Mississippi State in front of a raucous Howser crowd to claim the NCAA Tallahassee Regional championship, the Seminoles learned that would be their final home game of the 2025 season.

FSU will have to travel to Corvallis, Ore., this weekend to take on No. 8 national seed Oregon State, which came through the losers’ bracket to win its Regional on Monday night. The Beavers took the final two games from Southern Cal by the scores of 14-1 and 9-0.

As the No. 9 seed, Florida State needed Oregon State to be eliminated to secure a Super Regional in Tallahassee. Instead, the ‘Noles will be heading to the Great Northwest.

Four of the best-of-three Super Regionals will begin on Friday, and the other four will begin on Saturday. The Seminoles should learn late Monday night what their schedule looks like.

This will be FSU’s second trip to the other side of the country this season. The Seminoles went to Cal in early May and took two of three games.

Oregon State is 45-13-1 this season and has won its last three games by a combined margin of 43-4.

FSU is 41-14 and cruised to three straight wins in the Tallahassee Regional by a combined margin of 21-7.
