While the Florida State baseball and softball teams still have a few regular-season games left to play, the Seminoles’ other spring sports programs are entering postseason play this week. And many of them will be contenders to bring home championships.

Florida State boasts the nation’s No. 4 beach volleyball team, top-25 men’s and women’s tennis teams, a top-10 men’s golf team, top-15 women’s golf, and the No. 11 men’s track team.

Here is a look at each of their postseason schedules, courtesy of releases from the FSU Sports Information department:

FSU Beach Volleyball set for NCAA Championships

Florida State is the fourth seed at the NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships at Gulf Shores Public Beach in Gulf Shores, Ala., this week. Under the new format adopted this year, 16 teams will compete in the single-elimination format. The main bracket of dual matches will be played on Friday, May 5, with quarterfinal and semifinal matches on Saturday. The national championship match will be Sunday at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

FSU reached the national championship match in the double-elimination format last year finishing second in the country after losing 3-1 to Southern California.

The Seminoles’ first match will take place on Friday at 12:00 p.m. ET against No. 13 Florida International and will be live on ESPNU and streamed live on ESPN+. Florida State holds a 13-3 advantage in the series against FIU and played them at the Seminole Beach Bash earlier this season winning 4-1.

The winner of FSU vs. FIU will take on the winner of LSU vs. FAU, who play Friday at 1 p.m., in a quarterfinal match Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN2. The semifinal match on FSU’s side of the bracket will be played Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET and also televised on ESPN2.

Florida State Men’s Tennis heads to Columbia Regional

The No. 17 Florida State men’s tennis team has been selected to the 24th NCAA Tournament in program history.

The Seminoles will be traveling to Columbia, S.C., to play Baylor on Friday at 11 a.m. in the first round of the NCAA tournament. South Carolina State and host South Carolina are the other teams in the regional.

This will be the Seminoles’ ninth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 10 years. In last year’s NCAA Tournament, Florida State defeated Georgia State before upsetting No. 11 Georgia to advance to the Super Regional.

Florida State head coach Dwayne Hultquist has led the Seminoles to 17 NCAA appearances. Florida State compiled 10 ranked wins in the spring, with three of those wins coming against top-15 opponents.

Seminoles’ Women’s Tennis to play in Athens Regional

The No. 24 Florida State women’s tennis team has been selected to the NCAA Tournament for the 24th time in school history.

Florida State will be traveling to Athens, Ga., to face Illinois on Friday at 10 a.m. Florida A&M and host Georgia are the two other teams in the Athens regional.

The Seminoles have received a bid to six straight NCAA Tournaments, and 15 under head coach Jenifer Hyde. Hyde has led FSU to 16 of the program’s 18 victories in the NCAA Tournament.

Florida State has found recent success in the NCAA Tournament, making two quarterfinal appearances in the past four seasons.

The Seminoles’ 16 wins this season include six ranked wins and three victories over top-25 opponents.

FSU Men’s Golf tabbed for California NCAA Regional

The Florida State men’s golf, team which is ranked No. 6 nationally, learned its destination Wednesday for the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship. The Seminoles will be traveling to California to play in the Morgan Hill Regional.

Play is scheduled for May 15-17. This is Florida State’s 17th straight NCAA appearance.

Florida State Women’s Golf headed to Raleigh Regional

The No. 14-ranked Florida State women’s golf team will travel to the Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State University, to play in one of six NCAA Regional Championships on May 8-10.

The Seminoles, who have won two consecutive NCAA regional championships – at Louisville in 2021 and at Tallahassee in 2022 – will play in their school record 17th consecutive NCAA regional championship.  Florida State has played in each NCAA Championship since 2006.

Amy Bond, the winningest coach in Florida State history, will take her team to the NCAA Regional Championships for the 12th time.  She has led the Seminoles to the NCAA Championship in 12 of her 13 seasons (the NCAA did not conduct a championship in 2020) as the Seminoles’ Head Coach.  Bond has led the Seminoles to both NCAA regional championships in school history in the last two years and to top three team finishes in each of Florida State’s last six regional championship appearances.

No. 3-seeded Florida State will compete against Wake Forest, Arizona State, Florida, Arizona, North Texas, TCU, NC State, Purdue, Nebraska, Campbell and Richmond in the three-day, 54-hole tournament.

The top five teams in each of the six regionals (30 total teams) and top two individuals (not on an advancing team) will advance from each regional site to the NCAA Championships, which will be held for the third consecutive year at the Grayhawk Golf Club (Raptor Course) in Scottsdale, Ariz., May 19-24.

The No. 14 ranked Seminoles, who have been ranked among the nation’s top 15 teams throughout the season, have won two tournament championships and earned eight top-five team finishes.  Florida State won the team championship at the Schooner Fall Classic and the Florida State Match Up at the Seminole Legacy Golf Course, and finished in second place at the Inaugural Ivy Intercollegiate and the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club.

Florida State is looking to become just the sixth program since 2000 to win three consecutive regional championships, joining Southern Cal (6; 2010-15), Duke (4; 2000-04), Southern Cal (3; 2006-08), Stanford (3; 2016-18), and South Carolina (2015-17).

Florida State track teams preparing for ACC meet

The No. 11 FSU men’s track team and the Seminoles’ women’s track team will begin competition in the ACC Outdoor Championships next week in Raleigh, N.C.

The Florida State men won last year’s ACC outdoor meet, while the women placed third.
