Landen Thomas, the No. 8 tight end in the 2024 class, was originally committed to Georgia before flipping to Florida State and enrolling in Tallahassee. Thomas says he connected with with tight ends coach Chris Thomsen and appreciates the way Florida State is able to move playmakers around and utilize their skills.
5 star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek said his initial goal is to “soak up like a sponge” all he can around teammate DJ Uiagalelei and others in the quarterback room. He currently weighs 205 lbs. and has a goal to be at 215 lbs. for the season.
Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

The Seminoles finished the season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year’s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The Seminoles also have a verbal commitment from Ivy League standout Jacob Rizy of Harvard; he is anticipated to enroll in the summer.
