Warchant TV: First look at Florida State practice under revamped coaching staff
Florida State (1-9, 1-7) returned to game week practice with a 25 period session on Tuesday morning as the slumping Seminoles prepare for FCS opponent Charleston Southern.
Footage in the video above focuses on the Florida State offensive line led by Gabe Fertitta who replaced the dismissed Alex Atkins and some defensive drills under the watch of Randy Shannon who was elevated from co-defensive coordinator following the dismissal of Adam Fuller.
Florida State returns to practice on Wednesday morning and opened as a 33.5 point favorite over the Buccaneers.

Florida State’s next opponent, Charleston Southern, fell to 1-10 after a 16-13 OT loss to Eastern Illinois. The Buccaneers rank 120th out of 123 teams in the FCS in scoring offense (14.8 ppg)
The Seminoles are idle this week and will host Charleston Southern on Nov. 23rd — it will be the season finale for the Buccaneers. Florida State will finish the season vs. Florida on November 30th in Doak Campbell Stadium.

Florida State’s high school recruiting class for 2025 currently sits outside the On3 Top 20 team rankings. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
The transfer portal will open for business Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, and closes Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.
