Warchant TV: Florida 31, Florida State 11; Mike Norvell postgame press conference
Florida State (2-10, 1-7) dropped its final game in a dismal season 31-10 vs. arch-rival Florida (7-5) on Saturday night in Doak Campbell Stadium.
Afterwards, Florida State head coach Mike Norvell lamented the lack of explosive plays on offense, the tackles for loss and said, “defensively: missed tackles, gave up the explosive play..didn’t fit where we needed to be.”
“In a game like this, when you turn the ball over like we did, makes it an incredibly difficult position to find success (in).”
“This is getting fixed. It’s going to be an immediate, fast fix,” added Norvell. “This is done being the way we played this year. I take full responsibility for that.”
Florida State opens the 2025 season at home vs. Alabama on Saturday, August 30.
