Florida State dropped their season opener 24-21 after a walk off field goal by Georgia Tech’s Aidan Burr on Saturday evening in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland
Afterwards, Mike Norvell talked about the style of play from both team that led to few possessions and a game in where “the importance of every snap in [that] game was monumental.”
The team will spend Sunday touring the country before heading back to Tallahassee and resuming practice on Tuesday.

Next up for Florida State is their home opener vs. Boston College on Monday, Sept. 2nd.
The Seminoles dropped their season opener for the first time since 2021.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
