Warchant TV: Florida State hits practice field Wednesday afternoon, Warchant Wrap
DAVIE — The No. 5 Florida State football team continued preparation for No. 6 Georgia on Wednesday morning with another practice on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Davie. It is the final open practice of the 2023 season for the ACC champions.
DB Jarrian Jones, who initially intended to play in the game, officially opted out earlier in the morning, as the number of lost starters grows for the Seminoles in the lead up to the Orange Bowl on Dec. 30. WR Keon Coleman also formally announced that he is entering the NFL Draft.

Florida State’s practices on Thursday and Friday will be completely closed to the media, but Warchant will be on hand for additional player and coach interviews, as well as other bowl activities.

No. 5 Florida State (13-0, 9-0) will play in its first New Year’s Six Bowl since an appearance in the 2016 Orange Bowl.
The Seminoles are coming off a 16-6 win in the ACC Championship Game vs. Louisville. No. 6 UGA fell in the SEC Championship Game to No. 4 Alabama 27-24
Florida State will be without NFL Draft hopefuls Johnny Wilson, Trey Benson and Fabien Lovett. The Seminoles are also likely to be without several of their portal entrants.
