Warchant TV: Florida State preps for first scrimmage of preseason
Florida State logged an abbreviated practice on Friday morning as the Seminoles ready for their first scrimmage of the preseason on Saturday evening.
Drills from Friday’s practice featured mostly cross-training with offensive and defensive lineman and specialists swapping their usual work with the other side of the ball.
Saturday’s scrimmage is closed to the media but Mike Norvell will meet with reporters over video conferencing afterwards.

Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

The Seminoles finished the 2023 season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year’s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
