While Florida State, like most programs, continues to lean on the transfer portal to address roster needs, the 2025 cycle also features a number of pieces from the prep and JuCo level to aid in its efforts to establish a sustainable model.

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell revealed on signing day that adding length was a top priority and that was no more apparent than in the signings of 6’7″ WR Jordan Scott who seasoned at Southwest Mississippi Community College and 6’4″ TE Tae’shaun Gelsey.

The window to enter the transfer portal closed on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024 and Florida State’s portal class is currently 24th in the nation with 16 additions and 21 losses. The spring transfer period begins on April 16 and closes April 25th.
Florida State’s high school recruiting class for 2025 currently sits inside the On3 Top 20 team rankings and features DL Kevin Wynn who earned accolades at the US Navy All-Star Game.
