Warchant TV: Florida State stars prepared for Pro Day
Friday’s Pro Day will likely be the final showcase for over a dozen Florida State players who aspire to hear their names called during the NFL Draft in April.
On Wednesday, seven former Florida State players discussed their plans and preparation for Pro Day
Jared Verse who shined in Indianapolis earlier in the month does not plan on doing any on field work but will meet with teams. Verse ran a 4.58 40 yard dash, had a 35″ vertical jump and 31 reps of 225 lbs. on the bench press.

Kalen DeLoach says interest heated up after he posted a 4.47 40 yard dash at the Combine in Indianapolis; he’s heard from over a half dozen teams. He plans on performing on field drills and the bench press on Friday.
Akeem Dent says he plans to “put on a show” in the 40 yard dash on Friday. The former 5-star defensive back from Palm Beach was not invited to the NFL Combine.
Braden Fiske shared his plans to watch the NFL Draft in his hometown of Michigan City, Ind.
James Rosenberry, a Mannelly Award nominee as the nation’s top long snapper, outlined the challenges of making a roster at a niche position but he’s excited to use Pro Day as valuable face time with teams.
More draft hopefuls will speak to the media on Thursday including Renardo Green, Jarrian Jones, Casey Roddick, Jaheim Bell, Jordan Travis, Fabien Lovett, Tatum Bethune, Johnny Wilson

Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
The Seminoles finished the 2023 season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year’s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2024 transfer window reopens on Saturday April 15 and closes on April 30.
