Offensive coordinator Alex Atkins says the backs ran hard in the scrimmage, which was moved from Doak Campbell Stadium to the indoor practice facility due to lightning in the area. Atkins says they remain largely focused on install at this point of camp.

Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller spotlighted a turnover created by defensive back Sam McCall and said that Jarrian Jones is having his best camp of his career at FSU. Fuller said there are big expectations for a Florida State defense and while they’re not at that standard yet, he “likes the players in (this) room.”
John Papuchis, defensive ends coach and special teams coordinator, says he is confident in the development of defensive end Jared Verse and on the whole is pleased with the specialists and kick game.
FSU has Sunday off and will return to practice on Monday and have six consecutive days of camp.
