Warchant TV: Link Jarrett, FSU players discuss second straight CWS victory
OMAHA, Neb. — The Florida State baseball team won its second consecutive elimination game on Tuesday, racing out to an early lead and pulling away late for a 9-5 victory against North Carolina.
The win pushes the Seminoles into a rematch Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET against No. 1 Tennessee. Florida State will have to beat the Volunteers twice to advance to the CWS championship round, while the Volunteers need one more victory to move on.
After the game, Florida State coach Link Jarrett, pitchers Andrew Armstrong and Connor Hults, and catcher Jaxson West spoke with the media in a press conference.
