It was a wild night at Dick Howser Stadium with multiple ejections, including FSU head coach Link Jarrett, but it ended with another Seminoles victory and an NCAA Regional championship.

After FSU’s 5-2 victory over Mississippi State on Sunday night, Jarrett, starting pitcher Wes Mendes and outfielder Max Williams talked about the game and regional in their post-game press conference.

The Seminoles went 3-0 in the tournament, recording a pair of victories against Mississippi State and one against Bethune-Cookman. FSU now stands at 41-14 and will play the winner of the Corvallis, Ore., Regional in the next round.

Oregon State and Southern Cal played late Sunday night in the first game of that championship round. The top-seeded Beavers will need to beat USC twice to advance to the Super Regionals, while USC needs just one more victory.

If USC wins, the Trojans will have to travel to Tallahassee to play FSU. If Oregon State wins, Florida State will head out to Corvallis for the Super Regionals.

Here is Sunday night’s press conference featuring Jarrett, Williams and Mendes.
