ORLANDO — Florida State surged back in the second half en route to a 35-32 win over Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl to finish the season 10-3.
QB Jordan Travis was named the bowl MVP after accounting for 468 total yards. Afterwards, head coach Mike Norvell savored the victory and the progress the program displayed this season saying, “there are no limits to what they can do because I know how they work…there’s great days ahead.”
The 10-win season is the 25th in program history. Florida State opens the 2023 season in the very stadium they won in on Thursday night when they face LSU on Sunday, Sept. 3.
