Warchant TV: Mike Norvell, FSU coordinators process loss of Jordan Travis, opportunity vs. Florida
No. 4/5 Florida State (11-0, 8-0) wraps up its regular season with their annual rivalry game vs. the Florida Gators on Saturday in Gainesville.
On Monday, FSU head coach Mike Norvell confirmed Jordan Travis (leg) will be lost for the season. “You can’t block it out,” said Norvell. “Not on this team, not (him) being a part of what, who we are, what we’re about.”
“It’s not just next man up here because you care about every one of them,” Norvell added when also revealing the disappointment in LB Kalen DeLoach being unavailable on Senior Day; DeLoach’s status for this week was not disclosed.
Florida lost starting QB Graham Mertz (collarbone) on Saturday and will turn to its backup Max Brown who went 4-for-5 for 56 yards and seven carries for 42 yards in relief vs Missouri.
