Warchant TV: Frustration lingers for Mike Norvell, Florida State post practice interview
No. 5 Florida State (13-0, 9-0) will be without WR Johnny Wilson, RB Trey Benson and DL Fabien Lovett when the Seminoles face off against No. 6 UGA in the Orange Bowl on December 30.
Those players announced their intent to opt out of the bowl game earlier in the month but the rest of the Florida State roster remains in flux and head coach Mike Norvell did not provide much clarity to the questions around other players with NFL aspirations or those who were absent on Tuesday.
Norvell mostly discussed how he’s continuing to handle the disappointment of being left out of the College Football Playoff admitting it’s a frustration he’ll carry indefinitely.

No. 5 Florida State (13-0, 9-0) will play in its first New Year’s Six Bowl since an appearance in the 2016 Orange Bowl.

The Seminoles are coming off a 16-6 win in the ACC Championship Game vs. Louisville. No. 6 UGA fell in the SEC Championship Game to No. 4 Alabama 27-24
Florida State will be without NFL Draft hopefuls Johnny Wilson, Trey Benson and Fabien Lovett. The Seminoles are also likely to be without several of their portal entrants.
