Warchant TV: Mike Norvell on energy, focus after first day of Florida State spring football practice

Florida State took to the field inside the Al Dunlap Practice Facility on Wednesday afternoon for day one of its 15 sessions long spring practice.
Florida State historically practices in the mornings in the fall and in the afternoons during spring to accommodate campus visits for recruits.

Following practice, head coach Mike Norvell said he was pleased with the readiness of the players and new coaches. “Thought it was the clean for the most part, throwing and catching,” said Norvell. “Thought the defense moved around well, some explosive plays (were) made.”
“I thought it was a good day.”
Norvell characterized the changes with a new staff as “subtle and distinct [but]…the mentality and approach is the same.”
Florida State will return to practice tomorrow afternoon.
