Warchant TV: Mike Norvell on how Florida State is balancing bowl prep with roster management for future
Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell is a busy man. As he readies the Seminoles for their bowl game vs. Oklahoma, he and his staff are also balancing roster management with departing players while recruiting high schools and the transfer portal.
After practice Saturday, Norvell shared a story about the bye week when he and personnel director Darrick Yray criss-crossed recruiting territories to prepare the roster for the future; Norvell called it one of the more efficient yet grueling weeks on the job.
FSU faces Oklahoma in the Cheez-It Bowl on Dec. 29 in Orlando.
