Florida State practice inside Doak Campbell Stadium on Friday evening as the Seminoles resumed preparations for the Cheez-It Bowl vs. Oklahoma. Afterwards, head coach Mike Norvell touched on embracing the final game for several players who have entered the transfer portal but are still practicing with the team saying they have done everything that has been asked and deserve the opportunity to play in the bowl. Also Norvell shared that the announcements from Trey Benson, Tatum Bethune and Jordan Travis weren’t taken for granted in a day in age where player movement is fluid and widespread.
FSU returns to practice on Saturday morning. The Seminoles face the Oklahoma Sooners on Dec. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in Orlando’s Camping World Stadium for the Cheez-it Bowl.
