Warchant TV: Mike Norvell post-practice interview, reaction to McLendon portal entry
The Florida State football team hunkered down in its indoor practice facility on Tuesday for a 25-period practice on the heels of the first scrimmage of the spring season over the weekend.
Following practice, which was forced inside by thunderstorms, Mike Norvell discussed how his goal was to put players in uncomfortable positions to test their focus. He said there were a couple of skirmishes between players, but noted as long as players keep it respectful, it raises the competition and is of value to the team.
Norvell also touched on the departure of DE Derrick McLendon, who entered the transfer portal on Tuesday. Norvell said he wishes the best for McLendon and thanked him for his contributions to the program.
FSU returns to practice on Thursday.
