Florida State (1-3, 1-2) will square off Saturday against an SMU (3-1, 0-0) team averaging 42.3 points per game, 16th best in the nation as the Mustangs wrap up a four-game home stand.
After practice on Tuesday, Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell discussed the use of the vertical passing game and a position move for a player on defense.
Florida State resumes practice on Wednesday.

FSU’s next opponent, SMU, knocked off TCU in the battle for The Iron Skillet 66-42. SMU is a 5.5 point home favorite at most major sportsbooks.
