For a second consecutive week, Florida State will face off against an ACC newcomer when the Seminoles take the field Saturday in Dallas vs. SMU.
Following Wednesday’s 25 period practice, Florida State head coach Mike Norvell assessed the play of DJ Uiagalelei and the confidence in communication heading into a true road contest.
SMU ranks 16th in the nation in scoring offense, averaging 42.3 points per game and 67th in scoring defense allowing 22.8 points per game.

FSU’s next opponent, SMU, knocked off TCU in the battle for The Iron Skillet 66-42. SMU is a 5.5 point home favorite at most major sportsbooks.
The Seminoles and Mustangs will square off against one another for the first time ever on Saturday at 8 p.m. EST on ACC Network
Florida State added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
