No. 10 Florida State (0-2, 0-2) fell flat in front of a captive, national television audience amid a impotent 28-13 performance in a loss vs. Boston College in a reduced capacity Doak Campbell Stadium on Monday night.

Following the game, head coach Mike Norvell took accountability for the performance saying, “I failed in preparing the team to go out and respond tonight.”

“You’ve got a football team that’s hurting. Nobody ever envisions being where we are.”

FSU has a bye this coming weekend and returns to action on Sept. 14th vs. Memphis.

FSU’s next opponent, Memphis, won its season opener 40-0 on Saturday vs. North Alabama.

The Seminoles have started 0-2 for the second time in four seasons.

Florida State added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
