Florida State (1-7, 1-8) dropped its fifth straight contest of the season following a 35-11 loss to UNC on Saturday afternoon in Doak Campbell Stadium.
Afterwards, Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell expressed disappointment in his opening statement saying, “we have to be better than what we put on display.”
“In all aspects the game got away from us,” added Norvell. “(The season) has shaken our confidence.”

Florida State’s high school recruiting class for 2025 currently sits outside the On3 Top 20 team rankings. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
The transfer portal will open for business Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, and closes Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.
