Warchant TV: Mike Norvell sizes up first day of FSU Football preseason practice
Florida State entered opening day of preseason football practice Thursday fully stocked with a Heisman contending quarterback, projected NFL first-round pick edge rusher, first-team preseason All-ACC talent at receiver, running back, defensive back and experienced talent across the board.
Following practice, head football coach Mike Norvell praised the team’s energy despite some erratic play from the passing attack. Norvell wasn’t concerned and chalked it up to aggressive play from the defense and secondary. Freshmen defensive backs and newcomers garnered most of Norvell’s praise for impacting the pass game.
