Warchant TV: Norvell reveals after practice of NCAA denial of FSU DL Darrell Jackson waiver
Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell made an unscheduled appearance during post practice interviews to provide an update on a key transfer.
Norvell revealed that late last week they received word that Darrell Jackson‘s waiver for eligibility this season was denied. “Extremely disappointed…that young man, the journey, the reason that he’s here…I’m sad that he’s going to miss games”, said Norvell. “He’s hurt, he came home for a reason. I thought in all things that was shown and presented. The NCAA has a choice on what they want to do and that’s the decision that they made”
As for practice, Norvell said, “I think you’re seeing an explosive offense”. “I like what I’m seeing from the growth and development (of the team)”
