Warchant TV: Power 5 transfers open up about Florida State, offseason workouts
Florida State added 14 transfers who enrolled in time to join the ACC champions for offseason workouts and spring football.
On Tuesday WR Malik Benson, DB Davonte Brown, and OL Terrence Ferguson — all transfers from Power 5 programs — discussed their re-recruitment out of the portal, acclimation to Tour of Duty conditioning drills and more.
Benson (13 rec., 162 yds, TD at Alabama), who was the No. 1 junior college prospect in the 2023 cycle, cited his pre-existing relationship with head coach Mike Norvell and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans and their track record of success as being instrumental in his decision.

Ferguson who played in 11 games over three seasons for the Crimson Tide said he has not discussed a particular role in the offense though he anticipates playing on the interior of the Florida State line.
Brown, who played at UCF and Miami, also hasn’t been pegged into a specific position on the backend of the defense but shared his excitement to have the Doak Campbell Stadium crowd on his side and the strides Florida State has made under Norvell.
