Warchant TV: Roundtable discussion about 2026 FSU targets with On3's Chad Simmons
Florida State’s football staff is in hot pursuit of a number of top prospects in the Class of 2026, and in Part 2 of our video roundtable discussion with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons, we look at some of those key recruits.
Quarterback is obviously a priority following the decommitment of four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel, and the Seminoles have offered scholarships to Landon Duckworth, Keisean Henderson and Bowe Bentley.
But the question is which one does Florida State have the best shot with? Simmons shares his thoughts on each of them in the video below.
“Bowe Bentley is a hot name coming off that Navy All-American Bowl performance while I was out there,” Simmons said. “He’s not the biggest kid, but has a great arm. State Champion. Keisean Henderson, he’s probably the most fascinating player right now in this class because of all the offers. He is probably a five-star talent. His quarterback game improved tremendously over the last 12 months.
“Duckworth is the most logical pick here as far as who [the Seminoles] have the best chance with. He knows all about Gus [Malzahn] when Cam Newton was at Auburn. Landon knows a lot about the recruiting process, and I think he’s going to take things slowly. He has some familiarity with Gus and Coach [Tim] Harris even. I do think FSU will get Duckworth on campus and become a player.”

Simmons touched on several other Florida State recruits as well, including those at the linebacker position.
“We know Tony White is a guy that’s all about stopping the run first,” Simmons said. “To me, I think it’s still going to be a pretty big room, and they are going to bring in a lot of kids in March and April. Izayia Williams is one brought up. He passes that body check, physical. I think they have identified guys like that who can run downhill.”
